something i proised to share

Some time ago, i promised i would share with you what Dan had bought me to help clean the house but then to cut a long story short we lost the Internet and a few other things happen so i never actually got around to it.... but i promised i would share so here it is..... with a very loud and long awaited drum roll i introduce to you Rayna, my Dyson vacuum cleaner ( yes i named my vacuum cleaner, it means clean, pure in Yiddish)

i have to say i did not think it would be worth investing that much money in a vacuum cleaner but i have to say it really does make a difference.... the carpets feel so much fresher after using it.

thank you sweetie for the lovely present it really makes my life easier...

feeling very overwhelmed

So i have decided to turn this

(not my house by the way, just a random picture)

into this

my house is not actually very messy it just disorganised because when we moved in we were in a hurry unpacking things left right and centre just based on room type not based on practically. So i have set myself the little mission on the holidays to get organised. I just don't know where to start- kitchen, bedroom or the study.... i guess instead of writing about it i should just get on with it

ARGGGHh

My head is pounding, every thirty seconds it made worst from the bloody smoke detector going BEEP. Now i know what your thinking take it down replace the battery problem is that it one of the ones that is wired into the electricity and we have tried previous numerous times to open, take it down etc etc, however it like it superglue shut and onto the wall. No matter how much we try it wont budge... my next effort will be a crow bar if it does not stopping it annoying beeping.

A few weeks after we moved in it did this, but we found leaving the light that it wired into recharge the battery or at least made it shut up for about 4 months BUT now it started again, and my head is pounding.

MY FRIDGE BROKE

It true if you marry an electrician then all your wiring problems will never get fixed.... well in my case it is my fridge and air-con problems are never getting solved. A couple of days ago I opened up my freezer door to discover that everything was defrosted and off.... and my fridge was slowly loosing it coldness. So I said to myself “it okay there is a fringy in the house he will fix it” (I should have none better)..... So I remained calm yet slightly frustrated as I only just been food shopping and had lost about 200 dollars of food :( anyway this said FRINGY came home and quickly diagnosed there was a leak and the fringe needs re-gassing. Ok cool nothing major something he can fix YEAH... now I wait for it to be fixed....
Still waiting after 3 days, I ask him why am I waiting (slowly dehydrating) it turns out that the gas that the fridge needs is one that he cannot get his hands on easily unless we spend a thousand dollars on a new bottle. I don’t think so, so now plan B) by a new fridge LOL. Yes this is amusing because I am pretty sure we don’t have the money for that so plan B.1) buy a new second hand fridge YEAH Problem solved. Well sort off, tomorrow morning instead of having a nice sleep in and then maybe heading off to the markets I’m off to get a second hand fridge. As you can see wives or partners of electricians are putting up with bad wiring, of plumbers leaking pipes and me I get a second hand fridge that won’t last longer than a week (ok that is an understatement, but I just slightly frustrated with the whole situation).
